Immanuel Rajadurai

Immanuel Rajadurai is a South Asian entrepreneur, AI researcher, and co-founder of Mozart AI, a London-based music technology company building a Generative Audio Workstation that lets artists compose, produce, and distribute music with AI assistance. He studied alongside his co-founders at King's College London and brings a distinctive combination of technical depth in artificial intelligence and hands-on experience as a professional musician.

Rajadurai's career has spanned AI research in large-scale technology and quantitative finance environments, alongside a parallel life as a professional bass guitarist. That dual identity — as a practitioner who understands both what AI can compute and what musicians actually need — is central to his contribution to Mozart AI's product. The platform's approach of acting as a co-producer rather than a composition generator reflects the team's grounding in real creative workflows.

He joined co-founders Sundar Arvind, Arjun Khanna, and Pascual Merita Torres to build Mozart AI in 2025, with the team assembling a first working version of the product within ten days of joining EWOR's founder fellowship programme. The company launched publicly in July 2025, attracting over 100,000 users and more than one million songs created within its first two months. Producers associated with major artists and label groups have used the platform, with some tracks reaching more than ten million streams on Spotify.

Mozart AI raised $730,000 in pre-seed funding in mid-2025, followed by a £4.5 million seed round in February 2026 led by Balderton Capital — bringing total funding to more than $7 million. The round was joined by Mercuri, EWOR, and prominent angel investors including Eventbrite founder Kevin Hartz.
