Jerry Li

Jerry Li is a Taiwanese finance executive turned DeFi entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in global financial markets. He built his career at Deutsche Bank, rising to Managing Director and Head of Global Emerging Markets, Greater China, where he oversaw fixed-income trading across the region. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University and a Master's in Financial Engineering from Cornell University.
In 2022, he co-founded Term Structure Labs alongside Vincent Li, applying his deep expertise in interest rate products to the decentralised finance space. As CEO, Jerry led the platform's development of a peer-to-peer, fixed-rate, fixed-term lending and borrowing protocol built on a customised ZK-rollup solution — addressing the lack of predictable yield infrastructure in DeFi.
Term Structure raised $4.25 million in seed funding led by Cumberland DRW, with participation from HashKey Capital and Longling Capital. The company has since launched Term Structure Institutional, targeting hedge funds and asset managers with enterprise-grade fixed-rate financing secured by MPC wallets.
