Jin Dai

Jin Dai studied Engineering at the University of Cambridge, where alongside classmates Quintus Liu and Martin Hao he conducted research with the Institute of Public Health that revealed systemic inefficiencies in how UK patients received and adhered to their medication. This insight led the three to co-found Healthera in 2015 before graduating.
As a co-founder, Jin contributed to the early technical and product development of Healthera's digital pharmacy platform, helping build the medication-adherence app that first connected patients and pharmacies in a digital-first way. The founding team's vision was to bring the same consumer technology expectations seen in food delivery and ride-hailing to healthcare.
Healthera has grown to become the UK's most widely used digital pharmacy platform, partnering with over 1,700 pharmacies, processing more than five million prescriptions in 2024, and securing funding from Cambridge Enterprise, NHS England, Innovate UK, and Committed Capital. The company is now expanding internationally into Canada.
