Healthera is a Cambridge-founded digital health company on a mission to transform how the UK's pharmacy sector delivers care to patients. Founded in 2015 by Quintus Liu, Martin Hao, and Jin Dai during their final year at the University of Cambridge, the company emerged from research with the Institute of Public Health that identified the scale of medication non-adherence and the lack of digital tools available to pharmacies to address it.

The company provides pharmacies with an end-to-end digital platform including a patient-facing app and website, a pharmacy management console, and deep integrations with NHS systems including the NHS Electronic Prescription Service. Patients can order repeat prescriptions, book pharmacy services, access over-the-counter products, and receive personalised medication reminders. The platform also provides digital infrastructure for pharmacy brands including Superdrug, and in 2024 launched a partnership with Uber for same-hour prescription delivery.

Healthera is now the UK's most widely used digital pharmacy platform, serving over one million patients across more than 1,700 pharmacy partners and processing over five million digital prescriptions in 2024 alone. Partners consistently outperform the market in prescription growth by 10%. The company has raised backing from Cambridge Enterprise, Accelerated Digital Ventures (Legal & General), NHS England, Innovate UK, and most recently a £2 million strategic round led by Committed Capital to fund expansion into Canada.
