Quintus Liu was born in China in 1993, moved to Canada as a child, and later came to the UK to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, graduating with an MEng in 2015. During his studies he co-founded the Cambridge chapter of FOUNDER.org and established Serket Technology, demonstrating an early drive to translate research insights into real-world ventures.

In 2015, during his final year at Cambridge, Quintus co-founded Healthera alongside classmates Martin Hao and Jin Dai after working with the Institute of Public Health and uncovering significant inefficiencies in how patients managed and received their medication. He has served as CEO and Chairman ever since, building the company from a medication-adherence app into the UK's most widely used digital pharmacy platform.

Under Quintus's leadership, Healthera has digitally enabled more than 1,700 pharmacies across the UK, processed over five million digital prescriptions in 2024, and secured partnerships with the NHS, Alliance Healthcare, and Uber for same-hour prescription delivery. The company has raised backing from Cambridge Enterprise, Accelerated Digital Ventures, NHS England, Innovate UK, and Committed Capital, and is now expanding into the Canadian market.
