Joyeeta Das is a pioneering entrepreneur and technologist with a career spanning deep tech, climate innovation, and AI-driven ventures. Currently the CEO and co-founder of SamudraOceans, she is leading the development of the world’s first tech-powered blue carbon infrastructure platform. The company leverages robotics and AI to deploy smart seaweed farms on over 200 hectares of leased seabeds worldwide, converting marine spaces into climate-positive assets that generate blue carbon credits, biomass, and biodiversity. This effort positions oceans as the next frontier in sustainable innovation.

In addition to her role at SamudraOceans, Joyeeta advises the UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund, serves as an EIR at Maroon Invest Global, and sits on advisory boards of organizations like Niya and Data Friendly Space.
