Kritin Sundaram

Kritin Sundaram is a lawyer-turned-entrepreneur who built over a decade of senior legal experience at firms including Herbert Smith Freehills and Fieldfisher, conducting more than 150 internal and regulatory investigations into fraud, bribery, money laundering, and other allegations of improper conduct on behalf of major multinational corporations. He was appointed lead investigator on one of the largest financial frauds in modern history and developed a deep conviction that technology could fundamentally transform how investigations are managed.
In 2022 Kritin co-founded Augmetec alongside Jonathan Jackson, channelling his investigative expertise into LEIAA — an AI-powered, end-to-end platform purpose-built for ethics, compliance, and regulatory investigations. LEIAA automates workflows from inception to reporting, incorporates AI-driven document fraud detection, and integrates with leading enterprise platforms including Relativity and iManage, holding ISO 27001 and SOC II certifications.
In February 2025 Augmetec raised over £2 million in seed funding led by Fuel Ventures, with participation from 14Peaks Capital and strategic angels. The company serves multinational corporations, top-tier law firms, global financial institutions, and governments, and is expanding its team and product internationally to meet growing regulatory demand.
