Pruthvikar Reddy (known as Pruth) is a British-Indian engineer and entrepreneur, and the Co-Founder and CTO of Carv, the world's first digital ski coaching system. Of South Indian heritage, Pruth studied engineering before partnering with Jamie Grant to build the technology that would become Carv — starting with a prototype taped to their knees on a dry ski slope. In 2022, he was named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Sports and Games in Europe, alongside names such as Kylian Mbappé and Emma Raducanu.

Carv, operating under the legal name Motion Metrics Limited, was co-founded in 2013 and grew out of a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign in 2016 — the most-funded sports wearable in Kickstarter history at the time, raising $275,000 against a $50,000 goal. As CTO, Pruth has been central to building the hardware and software stack that underpins Carv's sensor system, which measures 72 motion and pressure metrics at 20 times per second, and the AI platform that analyses skiing technique in real time.

Under Pruth's technical leadership, Carv has amassed a database of over 400 million turns, serves more than 35,000 members across 58 countries, and has been awarded a Queen's Award for Enterprise. The company has raised over $20 million in total funding, most recently completing a Series A in 2024, and continues to expand its motion AI coaching capabilities into new terrains and use cases.
