Sakshi Chhabra Mittal is the founder and CEO of FoodHak, a London-based "food as medicine" company delivering plant-based ready-to-eat meals built around clinical research on diet and disease. She launched the business in early 2022 after a personal experience with a rare pregnancy-related liver condition that she managed through dietary change.
Before FoodHak she spent nearly six years at SoftBank Investment Advisers, focused on healthcare and life sciences investments. She led the $1.1B equity investment into Roivant Sciences and served on its board for four years, with other portfolio work including Guardant Health, Vir Biotechnology and Loggi. Her earlier career covered Hoxton Ventures (Darktrace, Babylon), an operating role at Babylon Health, EPIC Private Equity, and four years at Pfizer in regulatory affairs.
She holds an MBA from Wharton and an undergraduate degree in biotechnology from the University of Birmingham. FoodHak's investors include Firstminute Capital, Urania Ventures, Holland & Barrett and angels such as Rajeev Misra, Nikesh Arora, Jim Mellon and Mervyn Davies. The company acquired The Pure Package and Balance Box from liquidation in late 2024 to expand its meal-delivery footprint.
