Serena Sebastian is a design engineer who completed an MEng in Design Engineering at Imperial College London in 2025, earning first-class marks throughout and an Institution of Engineering and Technology scholarship.
Her work has ranged across research, experience design and play. She designed repair kits and lesson materials for schools at Team Repair, worked on UX for a Fortune 500 client and led research into dementia accessibility at Else, and designed an exhibition booth for Rheon Labs. She then spent ten months as a play invention intern at the LEGO Group.
Sebastian cofounded Snitch with Asha Bakhai and Yoshiki Connor Berrecloth, and runs brand, visual identity and launch content as CMO and creative director. The company won Imperial's £15,000 WE Innovate prize in June 2026 and raised £1.25M in pre-seed funding led by Eka Ventures in October 2026.
