Suleman Sacranie is a British-South Asian serial entrepreneur with deep roots in healthtech and social care. He studied at the University of Leicester, where he earned an MBA in Information Technology, and went on to co-found several ventures including the online GP platform The GP Service and the medicinal cannabis company Kanabo, where he served as Chief Product Officer. Recognised across the UK startup community, Sacranie was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2014 and has been highly commended at the Institute of Directors Young Director of the Year Awards.

In 2019, Sacranie co-founded CareHires alongside fellow entrepreneur Nizam Bata, drawing on frustrations they had encountered with the outdated, inefficient staffing processes endemic to the UK social care sector. As Co-CEO, he oversees commercial strategy and product development, helping to shape a platform that connects care homes with qualified temporary workers on demand.

Under his leadership, CareHires has fulfilled over half a million staffing hours for care providers across the UK, working with more than 150 care services. In 2025 the company raised £1.7 million led by West Hill Capital to enhance its AI-driven workforce management capabilities and extend its national reach.
