Tara Chandra is the Co-Founder and CEO of Here We Flo, the London-based B Corp femcare brand she co-founded with Susan Allen-Augustin after meeting at LSE, building it into an internationally distributed brand sold at Tesco, Boots, and Whole Foods.

Tara Priya Chandra was born in San Francisco to an Indian father and Persian mother, and grew up immersed in both cultures. She studied Economics at Columbia University in New York, where she also pursued jazz and classical voice, before a career in the music industry in Los Angeles — signing to indie label P-Vine Records in Japan, placing in the top ten on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, and touring internationally before pivoting toward business. She moved to London to pursue the Executive Global Master's in Management at the London School of Economics, where she received the C200 Award for exceptional students.

At LSE, Tara met Susan Allen-Augustin during a bathroom conversation between classes in 2013, and the two began discussing the difficulty of finding organic, plant-based period care products on British high streets. Tara channelled her entrepreneurial energy into researching the idea for her dissertation — conducting consumer focus groups and surveys that provided the commercial foundation for what would become Here We Flo. She went full-time on the business in 2016 and co-launched the brand the following year via a Kickstarter campaign.

As Co-Founder and CEO of Here We Flo, Tara leads the brand's creative vision and commercial strategy across three product ranges: FLO for period care, glo for sensitive bladder care, and XO! for sexual wellness. Under her leadership, Here We Flo has grown from a Kickstarter campaign into an internationally distributed B Corp brand stocked in Tesco, Boots, Sainsbury's, and Whole Foods. The company donates five percent of profits to partners including Bloody Good Period and the Orchid Project, and offsets its carbon footprint through certified climate programmes.

In August 2025, Here We Flo raised £3 million and announced a landmark back-of-shirt sponsorship partnership with Chelsea FC Women — one of the most prominent placements in women's football — cementing the brand's ambition to use sport as a platform for normalising menstrual health. Tara has been recognised among Forbes' 30 Under 30 Europe 2025 alongside her co-founder, reflecting the scale of what the two have built from a single idea in a university bathroom.
