Ufuk Civilo

Ufuk Civilo is a Turkish-born entrepreneur and private equity investor who built his career across global venture capital and impact investing before turning to company building. He held investment roles at TPG Growth and The Rise Fund, where he focused on scaling technology businesses and directing capital toward high-impact opportunities. His international outlook and operating experience across Europe and beyond gave him a grounding in both enterprise software dynamics and the complexities of growing businesses at scale.

In 2023, Civilo co-founded Ascendx Cloud in London alongside James Lumb and Bertan Ilbak, channelling his investment expertise into the CRM SaaS space. As CEO, he leads a company built around acquiring, developing and scaling Salesforce-native software products for enterprise clients. Ascendx operates as a portfolio builder and operator, helping ISV founders grow faster within the Salesforce ecosystem while retaining leadership of their products.

Under Civilo's leadership, Ascendx grew its revenue by approximately 300% in 2024, serving over 500 enterprise customers including Fortune 500 companies across banking, manufacturing and life sciences. In 2025, the company raised $110 million in a round led by Osprey Investors and Columbia Lake Partners — one of the largest growth-stage investments in the CRM sector to date — and added former Salesforce President Gavin Patterson to its board. Ascendx is also a member of the Pledge 1% movement, committing equity to community and social causes.
