Yusuf Jazakallah

Yusuf Jazakallah is the Co-Founder and Director of Recruitment SMART, the London-based AI recruitment technology company behind SniperAI. With 15 years of enterprise experience at firms including Ernst & Young, American Express, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds of London, Wipro, and TCS, he brings a cross-sector perspective on how large organisations manage talent, technology, and financial strategy. At Recruitment SMART, his contributions have been central to product development, business strategy, and finance, providing the institutional rigour that complements the technical and commercial energy of the founding team.

Jazakallah's background in enterprise consulting and financial services gave him a clear view of the structural inefficiencies in how large organisations approach hiring — particularly the reliance on manual screening processes that slow down talent acquisition and introduce inconsistency into one of an organisation's most consequential decisions. Co-founding Recruitment SMART with Pawan Lokwani offered him the opportunity to address those inefficiencies at scale, using AI to bring rigour and speed to the earliest stages of recruitment.

Recruitment SMART's SniperAI platform applies machine learning and natural language processing to CV screening, producing ranked candidate lists annotated by match score and enabling enterprise HR teams to dramatically reduce the time spent on initial candidate review. The platform is deployed globally across sectors including manufacturing, oil and gas, and financial services, and has supported funding rounds from the Future Fund and Blackfinch. Jazakallah oversees the financial and strategic dimensions of the company's growth from its London headquarters.
