Saturn is a London-based AI technology company building the operating system for financial advice. Founded in 2023 by Amal Jolly, Michael Ettlinger, and Rohit Vaish, Saturn automates the most time-consuming compliance and administrative tasks that financial advice firms face — including suitability reports, meeting documentation, onboarding, and pension transfer processing — enabling advisers to serve significantly more clients at a fraction of current cost.
The UK faces a structural advice gap: fewer than one in ten people received regulated financial advice last year, largely because the cost to serve a single client averages £2,000 per year. Saturn directly attacks this economics problem, with its AI compressing tasks that previously required four hours of paraplanner time to approximately 20 minutes of adviser review — reducing the per-client cost to as little as £200.
The platform is purpose-built for UK financial advice compliance and is deeply integrated with the workflows, tools, and regulatory requirements that advisory firms rely on. It is already trusted by over 600 advisory firms, including Progeny, Hoxton Wealth, and Perspective Financial Group, representing over £35 billion in assets under management and more than 200,000 clients. The company was backed by Y Combinator and has more than doubled its market share in the five months leading up to its Series A.
Saturn raised £11.2 million ($15 million) in a Series A led by Singular in October 2025, with participation from Shapers, Y Combinator, and Zeno Ventures. The funding accelerates product development, engineering and research hiring, and expansion of Saturn's platform to make quality financial advice accessible to millions more people across the UK.
