Traydstream
.avif)
Traydstream is a trade finance technology company that digitises and automates document checking for banks and corporates. The platform extracts data from trade finance paperwork, validates it against an evolving library of trade rules and compliance checks, and routes the output back into a bank's existing trade processing workflow.
The product uses optical character recognition combined with machine learning to handle the long-tail of document formats and languages that make trade finance manually intensive. The platform is cloud-based and modular, offered as SaaS to lender banks and trade desks, and aims to reduce processing time and discrepancy risk on letters of credit and similar instruments.
Traydstream was founded in 2015 by Uzair Bawany, Achille D'Antoni, Gary Bhattacharjee and Amrish Sehgal. It is headquartered in London, with operations in India, and has raised around $66m across eight rounds from investors including Pivot Investment Partners, Spearhead and e&. Samir Sehgal is the current CEO.
