Akash Bajwa - is an early stage fintech and SaaS investor at Earlybird, one of Europe's largest early stage VCs. Prior to this, Akash was a FinTech investor at Augmentum Fintech, and prior to that he worked with FinTechs at Barclays Ventures.
Corne Nagel - is an accomplished AI and data science professional who has made strategic contributions as both Chief Data Scientist and Chief Data Officer to various international Fintech companies. He served on the Malta National AI taskforce, playing a key role in shaping the nation's AI strategy, regularly speaks at international conferences and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs through accelerator programs.
Ilias Sarris - helps Energy, Industrial and Agri-food players across the globe take and execute strategic decisions, in the context of the energy transition and increased market volatility.
In his role as a Director with Accenture’s Trading, Investments & Optimisation Strategy group, he is leading teams across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, advising on growth strategy, capital allocation and M&A, trading and risk management, operating model and commercial optimisation. Ilias thoroughly enjoys building teams and navigating complex business problems, particularly in the fields of carbon markets, decarbonisation and climate tech (engineered & nature-based). On the side, he also mentors and provides hands-on support to early-stage start-ups in these spaces.
Prior to consulting, he was with a seed-stage VC fund predominantly investing in FinTech.
Sarah Kocianski - has over 10 years experience working in the fintech and insurtech industry as a researcher, analyst and advisor. She has worked with organisations large and small to help them understand where they should be focusing their innovation and investment efforts in order to best meet the needs of customers — whether that's investing in startups, partnering with fintechs or building new products and services from scratch. Previously of Business Insider Intelligence, 11:FS and Founders Factory, Sarah is now a freelancer working with a range of companies including member organisations, consultancies and banks.
