Web Accessibility: it's not just alt tags!

Fran is an award-winning Senior Front-End Developer for Stornaway.io - a platform for immersive gaming. In nearly a decade she has worked with eCommerce giants such as Electrolux to enhance their digital solutions, Genomics England to build the world’s first online genetic testing service as well as consulting public sector clients to help improve their services and web accessibility.

She is exceptionally passionate about diversifying the tech industry - particularly through the lens of social mobility. She has successfully solidified herself within the Bristol tech community by helping organise codebar Bristol as well as mentoring on a number of remote initiatives such as Durham University’s TechUP bootcamp and the Aspiring Professionals Programme run by the Social Mobility Foundation.
