Armaan Mehta is an Indian-origin entrepreneur who co-founded TraqCheck in 2020 with Jaibir Nihal Singh. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from UCLA and previously held roles at SoftBank Investment Advisers and the World Economic Forum.

Now based in Los Angeles, Mehta serves as Co-CEO and leads product strategy. He has been central to the development of Nina, TraqCheck's conversational sourcing agent that contacts, qualifies and routes candidates to hiring managers in real time.

Under his and Singh's leadership, TraqCheck has expanded from Indian background verification into a full-stack agentic HR platform serving roughly 300 enterprise customers across India and Europe. The company raised a £6 million Series A in April 2026 led by IvyCap Ventures with participation from IIFL Fintech Fund.
