TraqCheck raises £6M Series A to expand AI-native HR platform across Europe
April 15, 2026
London-based HR technology company TraqCheck has raised £6 million (around $8 million) in a Series A round led by IvyCap Ventures, with participation from IIFL Fintech Fund.
Recruitment is one of the most operationally intensive functions in any large organisation, yet much of the workflow is still spread across fragmented tools, manual coordination and slow background-check vendors. TraqCheck's pitch is that AI agents can replace those layers rather than sit on top of them.
The company sells what it calls a Human Operating System: a stack of specialised AI agents designed to execute hiring workflows end-to-end. Its flagship agent, Trace, handles background verification including identity, criminal record, education and employment history. Its newer agent, Nina, is a conversational sourcing tool that initiates outreach, qualifies candidates in real time and passes vetted prospects directly to hiring managers.
TraqCheck was founded in 2020 by co-CEOs Jaibir Nihal Singh and Armaan Mehta, who met as students in Los Angeles. The business has since relocated its headquarters from New Delhi to London and now counts nearly 300 enterprise customers across India and Europe, including Randstad Enterprise, Wipro and The Digital College. Singh featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia AI list in 2025. Earlier backers include Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal and Everstone Capital chairman Alok Oberoi, who participated as angels in earlier rounds.
IvyCap Ventures, which manages more than $650 million across software, fintech, healthtech and edtech investments, will be joined by IIFL Fintech Fund as a strategic co-investor. The proceeds will grow TraqCheck's UK headcount to 25 and fund European expansion of both Trace and Nina across SMB and enterprise customers.
