Ash Ali

Ash Ali is the co-founder of Uhubs, a London-based sales enablement platform that helps revenue leaders measure and improve sales-team capability. Founded in January 2019 with Matt Milligan, Uhubs combines a proprietary capability index with CRM data to identify performance gaps and target coaching. The company has raised funding from Twinkl Hive and South East Angels among others.
Ali was the first marketing director at Just Eat, joining in 2008 and helping scale the company in its early years. He went on to be CMO at VideoJug and has since founded and grown several businesses, including Fare Exchange Network. He is co-author of The Unfair Advantage with Hasan Kubba — a Wall Street Journal bestseller and FT Book of the Month.
He grew up in inner-city Birmingham, dropped out of formal study twice and taught himself web development in his parents' attic, which led to early roles building e-commerce sites for shoe and online retailers in the late 1990s. He speaks and writes regularly on entrepreneurship, sales and the experience of second-generation immigrant founders.
