Dilanka Kalutota

Dilanka Kalutota is a Sri Lankan-British entrepreneur and SaaS leader based in the UK, with extensive experience scaling customer-facing technology businesses across Europe and Sri Lanka. He has held senior leadership roles at Oracle, GlaxoSmithKline, Tealium, and Exponea — the latter of which was acquired by Bloomreach — as well as serving as a VP at Mews, the hospitality technology platform. These experiences gave him a front-row view of how broken post-sales operations are for most B2B companies, and inspired him to build Velaris.

Dilanka is Co-Founder and CEO of Velaris, a London-based customer success intelligence platform he co-founded with José Fernández-Castaño. Velaris consolidates customer data, automates workflows, and provides AI-powered predictive insights to help B2B technology companies retain and expand their customer base. The platform is designed for Customer Success, Onboarding, Support, and Account Management teams — providing a unified operating system for all post-sales functions.

Velaris has raised over $4.7 million in seed funding led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from Zaka and Fintech 365. The company expanded internationally with offices in London, Madrid, and Sri Lanka, and in 2025 was named a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Customer Success Platforms — the only vendor to receive that recognition in that year's report.
