Kyle Tsai is an investment manager at Wayra UK, the corporate venture capital arm of Telefónica and Virgin Media O2. He sources, evaluates and manages early-stage investments and commercial partnerships between portfolio startups and Telefónica's business units, focusing on connectivity, IoT, enterprise SaaS and emerging technologies.
Before Wayra he was a founder, having set up the consumer drinks brand Alcohonly in 2020 and run it through to 2022. Earlier he held product and banking roles, including a stint as a product manager at AUK Group and an internship at Guangdong Huaxing Bank during his Master's studies.
Kyle holds a Master's in Entrepreneurship from UCL School of Management. He was named one of Global Venturing's Top 50 Rising Stars in corporate venturing in 2025.
