Richard Kuo has carved a niche for himself in the field of genomics, currently leading as CEO and Founder of Wobble Genomics in Edinburgh, Scotland. Since its establishment in August 2020, he has steered the company through its nascent stages to its current growth phase, demonstrating his capacity for leadership and innovation in the biotechnology sector. Under his guidance, Wobble Genomics has embarked on pioneering research and development in genomics, contributing significantly to advancements in the field.

Before his entrepreneurial leap, Richard was entrenched in academia and research. He has been a bioinformatician at the Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh since March 2013, where he continues to contribute to critical research. His academic journey was marked by significant research roles at prestigious institutions, including Caltech and Columbia University, where he specialized in auditory neuroscience and electrophysiology from 2007 to 2011.
