Saalim Chowdhury

Saalim Chowdhury is the  Managing Director at Techstars, the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed

He earned a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Oxford.

He then took on a role as an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked from 2004 to 2005.

Following this, he served as a Product Manager at ScanSafe, Inc, which was later acquired by Cisco, from 2005 to 2007.

From 2007 to 2010, he held the position of GM / Head of Digital at NIF within News Corp.

He transitioned into a role as a Principal Consultant at Freelance Consulting from 2010 to 2014, while also serving as the Head of Digital Strategy at Reach plc from 2012 to 2014.

In 2013, he co-founded Skillbridge, where he served as CTO & Co-Founder until 2016 when Skillbridge was acquired by Toptal.

In 2016, Saalim Chowdhury became a Partner at 500 Startups, a position he held until 2020.

Currently, he is the Managing Director at Techstars, a role he has held since 2021.
