Satyen Fakey

Satyen Fakey is a British-Indian entrepreneur, investor, and Oxford MBA graduate with a background in e-commerce and business operations. Before co-founding Doji, he founded Trimcraft Direct, a UK-based e-commerce business that he scaled into a multi-million-pound revenue operation with a global customer base — giving him firsthand insight into the pricing inefficiencies and friction that plague online marketplaces for used goods.
In 2020, Satyen co-founded Doji alongside Fernando Montera Filho and Bilal Ishaq Khan — colleagues he met during their Masters programme at the University of Oxford. The trio set out to apply the proven stock exchange model to the market for used tech products, creating a real-time, transparent marketplace where buyers and sellers can transact at fair, data-driven prices. Satyen has led international business development and growth strategy at Doji, including the company's expansion into Brazil in 2022.
Doji has raised $3 million in seed funding from investors including Canary, Norte Ventures, and 1289 Capital, and has grown to £25 million in annual revenue in the UK. The company has been named a finalist for the Sustainability Award at the London Chamber of Commerce SME Business Awards and won the Mobile Industry Awards Startup of the Year.
