Sunaina Sethi is co-founder and Chief People Officer at JKS Restaurants, the London-based hospitality group she started with her brothers Jyotin and Karam in 2008. JKS has grown into one of the most decorated independent restaurant groups in the UK, holding multiple Michelin stars and operating roughly 30 sites across London, the Middle East and — as of late 2025 — Las Vegas.
Sunaina ran operations and wine buying at JKS for over a decade before stepping into the people-leadership remit, and built much of the group's hospitality, training and sommelier infrastructure during that period. She is now responsible for HR strategy, talent and culture across a workforce of more than 1,200 people, in an industry where retention and progression are notoriously difficult.
She is also a non-executive director at TATE Enterprises, contributing hospitality and operations perspective to the museum group's commercial business. Her early career included internships in private banking at HSBC Trinkaus and Sal Oppenheim before moving full-time into the restaurant business.
