Syabira Yussof

Syabira's accomplishments extended beyond academia as she earned the title of Champion of The Great British Bake Off in 2022, marked by her consecutive Star Baker accolades. Her entrepreneurial path continued as she founded syabirabakes.ltd in March 2022, sharing her news, recipes, and insights on Instagram @syabira_bakes.

Her journey began as an Agronomist at Green World Genetics Sdn Bhd, where she contributed for 7 months from September 2012 to March 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Continuing her academic pursuits, Syabira engaged as a Research Assistant at Universiti Putra Malaysia from April 2013 to August 2013.

Progressing further, she assumed the role of a part-time Research Assistant/Bioinformatician trainee at the University of Leicester from April 2015 to December 2017.

Her commitment to research led her to the position of a Postdoctoral Researcher in Cardiac Surgery Research in the same University  from January 2018 to July 2019.

Her journey continued at King's College London, where she assumed the role of a Postdoctoral Researcher for 3 years and 9 months from August 2019 to April 2023 at James Black Center, Denmark Hill Campus.
