Oddbox is a London-based subscription service that buys surplus and cosmetically rejected fruit and vegetables direct from UK farms and delivers them weekly to customers. The model addresses an estimated 30 percent of UK farm produce that is rejected by supermarkets for being the wrong size, shape or colour, paying growers a fair price for produce that would otherwise stay in the field.

Customers receive a weekly box of seasonal produce alongside recipes and personalised impact data showing how much food and water their subscription has saved. Boxes start at around £15 plus delivery, and the company donates surplus produce at week's end to FareShare. Oddbox is a certified B Corp — its score rose from 93.1 at certification in 2020 to 97.7 by 2023.

Founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife team Deepak Ravindran and Emilie Vanpoperinghe after a trip to a Portuguese market, the company has delivered more than eight million boxes, rescued the equivalent of over 96 million meals and raised more than £20 million in funding. Investors include Mercia Asset Management, Seedrs and BurdaPrincipal Investments, which led a £16 million Series B in 2021.
