tuck. is a UK rewards app built around a simple complaint about cashback: it takes too long to arrive. Traditional cashback sites require shoppers to click through a tracking link, shop online, then wait weeks or months for a retailer to confirm the purchase, often against a minimum withdrawal threshold. tuck. pays at the point of purchase instead.

The mechanism is a discounted digital card. A user picks a retailer in the app, chooses an amount, and pays by open banking transfer, Apple Pay or Google Pay. They are charged less than face value, and the difference appears in their tuck. wallet immediately. The card is then spent as normal, either by scanning a barcode at the till, tapping via Apple or Google Wallet, or entering the code at an online checkout. It stacks on top of existing loyalty schemes such as Clubcard and Nectar. Rates run between roughly 2 and 10 per cent depending on the retailer, and balances can be withdrawn to a bank account or recycled into further purchases. Revenue comes from retailer commission, which tuck. passes through as the discount rather than charging users a subscription.

The company was founded by Neel Thakrar and Dhruvesh Ranpura and started in Leicester, rewarding shoppers at independent venues there and in Nottingham before going nationwide in 2024. It now works with more than 200 UK retailers spanning supermarkets, fashion, dining, travel, home and entertainment, and reports over 100,000 users and more than £1M saved. It raised an angel round in 2021 and counts Bae HQ and BlueBox Group among its investors. Tuck Technology Ltd is registered in Leicester.
