Alston Zecha is a partner at Eight Roads and was the exited co-founder of Payleven, which merged with SumUp

He began his professional journey as a Junior Analyst at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney in August 1999, where he honed his analytical skills until July 2000.

Following this, he ventured into the realm of Sales and Fund-raising with Galaxy Distribution System Ltd. from January 2002 to August 2002.

In 2002, Zecka transitioned to Bain & Company, marking the onset of a four-year tenure that concluded in 2006.

During this period, he also pursued an MBA in General Management and Finance at Harvard Business School, graduating in 2008.

Zecka expanded his horizons as a Summer Associate with Apax Partners in June 2007, gaining valuable experience until August 2007.

Post-MBA, Zecka took on the role of Assistant to the CEO & Chairman at Travelex, serving from November 2008 to October 2009.

He rejoined Apax Partners as a Senior Associate in September 2008, continuing in this capacity until June 2012.

In the ensuing years, Zecka embarked on a new chapter with payleven, dedicating three years and six months to the company.

His professional journey continued to evolve as he joined Eight Roads, where he contributed for eight years and eleven months, further enriching his experience and expertise.
