Faraan Irfan is the co-founder and CEO of Saarey, a streaming service dedicated to South Asian classical music. The platform offers Hindustani, khayal, thumri, kafi and qawwali recordings from established ustads alongside emerging artists, and is building toward a wider digital ecosystem that includes nazrana payments to performers, masterclass bookings and concert ticketing.

The company emerged from his family's six-decade involvement with the All Pakistan Music Conference, where Faraan still serves as Joint Secretary. The product idea took shape during his MBA at London Business School and crystallised after a conversation with industry advisor Deven Dave about the gap between the genre's audience and the digital infrastructure available to it.

Saarey has won the Arts category of the Columbia Venture Competition, taken Innovate UK grant funding for its artist-payment feature, and counts Goodwater Capital among its early backers. Faraan completed a Global EMBA across Columbia Business School, London Business School and the University of Hong Kong, and was inducted into the Recording Academy.
