Jamie Gill is a luxury & fashion executive, the founder of The Outsider’s Perspective and sits on the board for the British Fashion Council.

Jamie studied Architecture and worked briefly at Broadway Malyan before switching to Deloitte. Here Jamie worked across all service lines; Advisory, Consulting, Transaction Services and M&A in Real Estate and Luxury Goods, whilst becoming ACA Qualified with the ICAEW. Managing the engagements of: Qatari Diar, the Brunei Investment Authority, LVMH UK, Louis Vuitton and Prada.

He then left to co-found DEUGILL in January 2015 which was a couture bridal brand targeting the Indian bridal market. The project was funded through a combination of government grants, raising seed capital through family & friends as well as SEIS Investors. The business came to an end when larger capital was needed to continue to re-invest.

Jamie then went full-time as an Investment Director at a Family Office Fund which focused on emerging British luxury fashion; targeting growth opportunities within the luxury fashion sphere: SMEs with a £0.5m to £10m turnover.

Jamie then became CEO of ROKSANDA, a luxury Womenswear brand. Extensively distributed in over 75 key luxury retailers around the world, with a flagship in Mayfair London. ROKSANDA is a headliner for London Fashion Week.

During this time, Jamie became a Non-Executive Director for the British Fashion Council and then the Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

In September 2022, Jamie founded The Outsiders Perspective. This is a not-for-profit incubation platform aimed at increasing the representation of disadvantaged communities in operational, commercial and marketing roles in the fashion and luxury industries.
