Mandeep Soor

Mandeep Soor is a British-Indian entrepreneur and strategist who has built a career at the intersection of commercial strategy, sustainability, and technology. After graduating from LSE and SOAS, she worked as a strategist at Boston Consulting Group and the British Business Bank before moving into the tech sector, where she honed her focus on data science and impact-driven innovation at startup Pivigo.

In 2020, she co-founded Bendi — a Birmingham and London-based AI platform that helps companies identify and manage ESG risks hidden deep within their global supply chains. As CEO, Mandeep leads the company's strategic vision and commercial growth. Bendi's flagship platform, Prism, uses AI to analyse over 100 risk indicators — including human rights violations, environmental hazards, and governance concerns — in real time, across more than 35 languages and multiple data sources. The platform addresses a growing regulatory imperative driven by legislation such as the EU's Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive and the US Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act.

Bendi has raised over $2 million in funding to date, including a pre-seed round of $1.04 million in 2024 led by Midven (part of Future Planet Capital), with participation from Heartfelt Capital, Chasing Rainbows, Innovate UK, and angel investors. Mandeep is also a trustee of the South London Refugee Association and a two-time Innovate UK grant winner.
