Parth Garg

Parth Garg was born in India and grew up across Indian cities before moving to Abu Dhabi, where he founded a non-profit engaging hundreds of teenagers in community initiatives and participated in Physics Olympiads. He went on to study at Stanford University, where he pursued research in cosmology before dropping out to pursue entrepreneurship — a decision that would define his trajectory as one of fintech's most closely watched young founders.
In 2022, Garg founded Aspora in London with a clear mission: to modernise cross-border banking for the global Indian diaspora. Drawing on stablecoin infrastructure, the platform enables non-resident Indians to send money home instantly and at a fraction of the cost of traditional services, and has since expanded into bill payments, investment products, and neobanking features. Garg led the company as a solo founder after an early co-founder departure, rebuilding the team and pivoting the business model in real time — a story that has drawn widespread coverage from Sequoia, Greylock, and the global press.
By mid-2025, Aspora had over 800,000 users and had processed more than $4 billion in transactions, helping users save over $25 million in fees. The company completed a $53 million Series B co-led by Sequoia Capital and Greylock Partners, valuing it at $500 million, and has expanded to the US, UAE and EU. Garg has been recognised as a generational talent in fintech, combining technical rigour, product instinct, and a deeply personal connection to the problem he is solving.
