Sach Kukadia is the Co-Founder and CEO of 7879, a UK fine jewellery brand he launched in November 2021 alongside Ben Flowers. 7879 — named after the atomic numbers of platinum (78) and gold (79) — sells pure precious metal jewellery priced transparently against live international bullion markets, creating what Kukadia describes as 'appreciating jewellery': pieces that function as wearable investments whose value can be tracked and sold back at market rate. The concept emerged from Kukadia's South Indian heritage, in which gold jewellery has long served a dual function as adornment and stored wealth, and from his observation that the traditional jewellery market's opaque pricing model represented one of the most persistent inefficiencies in consumer retail.

Kukadia is perhaps best known for co-founding SecretSales, the UK's first flash sales website, with his brother Nish Kukadia in 2007. The business grew to partner with over 1,600 brands, employ 110 staff, and generate significant revenue before being sold in 2019 to Lifestyle Retail Group. The experience of scaling a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business from zero — and the hard lessons learned about unit economics, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value — directly informed the discipline with which he built 7879's model.

7879 achieved £1.5 million in revenue in its first year, a 977% quarterly sales increase from Q1 to Q4, and a £6 million run rate by its second anniversary. The brand launched in Selfridges and Harrods, attracted a £5.5 million seed funding round led by Anglo American PLC in 2022, and has built a customer base that is approximately 75% male and more than 50% US-based. Kukadia has described 7879's ambition as transforming jewellery into a category — like property, fine wine, or art — in which buyers understand and can realise the investment value of what they own.
