Yan Zhao is the CTO and co-founder at Breathe Battery Technologies, helps the world's most iconic electric vehicle and consumer electronics brands deliver products with faster charging, greater cycle life and zero compromise on safety.
He started on his professional journey as the Battery System Lead & Team Principal at Imperial Racing Green from October 2013 to May 2017.
He pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Battery Engineering at Imperial College London, completing his academic from 2015 to 2019.
Yan took on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and co-founder at Breathe Battery Technologies, starting in August 2019.
