Christopher Kong is the co-founder and CEO of Corvera, an AI-native operating system for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. He is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree and a graduate of the University of Oxford, where he studied molecular and cellular biochemistry.
Kong's first company was Better Nature, a tempeh brand he co-founded in 2019 after deferring an offer from McKinsey. He led every fundraise and closed every major sales deal as the company scaled from a university dorm idea to one of Europe's largest meat-free brands, sold across more than 5,000 stores in six countries by the time he stepped back in 2025. The seven years spent inside the CPG operations stack — managing orders, retailer portals, fulfilment and demand planning across multiple geographies — became the founding insight for Corvera.
He launched Corvera in 2025 alongside Dirk Breeuwer (formerly Google's data and AI lead for Pixel in EMEA) and Matthew Collins (formerly head of product at Rosemark). The company was accepted into Y Combinator's Winter 2026 cohort from a pool of 30,000 applicants and has raised both a $2M pre-seed and a $4.2M seed round inside its first year, building an AI agent workforce that automates CPG operations end to end.
