Pawan Lokwani is the Co-Founder and Director of Recruitment SMART, a London-based recruitment technology company that has developed SniperAI — an AI-powered platform that uses machine learning to match CVs to job specifications, transforming the candidate screening process for enterprise recruitment teams globally. A graduate of IIT Delhi (Indian Institute of Technology) with over two decades of experience in technology consulting and enterprise software, Lokwani has combined deep technical knowledge with commercial leadership to build one of the UK's most established AI recruitment platforms.

Before founding Recruitment SMART in 2015, Lokwani held senior business unit leadership roles at IBM, HCL, and other global technology consulting firms, where he was responsible for managing large-scale recruitment and enterprise technology delivery programmes. He also founded and scaled a recruitment business in the UK and US with an annual turnover exceeding £10 million, giving him firsthand experience of the inefficiencies that manual CV screening and candidate matching create at scale. This experience directly informed the development of SniperAI, which applies natural language processing and self-learning algorithms to analyse candidate CVs against job specifications — producing ranked, annotated shortlists that can reduce time-to-hire by over 60% while improving candidate diversity outcomes.
