Robbie Singh

Robbie Singh is a British-Sikh entrepreneur, gaming creator, and the founder and CEO of Omeda Studios, the London-based independent game studio behind Predecessor — one of the most ambitious community-driven MOBA games ever built. Growing up as a passionate gamer, Robbie became a prominent content creator and streaming personality, building a dedicated following within the MOBA community around Epic Games' Paragon. When Epic cancelled Paragon in 2018 and released its assets for community use, Robbie felt a profound responsibility to act.
In 2020, Robbie co-founded Omeda Studios alongside Andrea Garella and Steven Meilleur with a vision to build the MOBA that the community deserved — using Paragon's released assets as a foundation and completely rebuilding the game from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5. The studio adopted an unusually collaborative approach: actively co-developing the game with its player base through extensive playtests, Discord engagement and creator partnerships from the very earliest stages.
That community-first approach translated directly into commercial success. Omeda raised a $2.2 million seed round in 2021 and a $20 million Series A in 2022 led by Haveli Investments, with backing from GFR Fund and Possible Ventures. Predecessor launched into early access in December 2022 and entered open beta in March 2024, amassing over one million players. The game now has full cross-play across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox, making Omeda one of the few independent studios to ship a triple-A quality MOBA for console audiences.
