Yusuf Jazakallah

Yusuf Jazakallah is the Co-Founder and Director of Recruitment SMART Technologies, a London-based AI-powered recruitment automation platform. With fifteen years of enterprise technology experience across institutions including Ernst & Young, American Express, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds of London, Wipro, and TCS, he brings a rare combination of deep product development expertise and broad financial services knowledge to Recruitment SMART's strategic direction. His background spans product strategy, business development, and corporate finance, providing a strong commercial foundation alongside Pawan Lokwani's engineering and technology leadership.

Jazakallah co-founded Recruitment SMART in 2015 with the conviction that AI could fundamentally improve the fairness, speed, and quality of the hiring process. As a driving force behind the company's product architecture and strategy, he has guided the development of SniperAI — the company's flagship CV screening and candidate matching engine — as well as newer AI capabilities including structured video interviewing, diversity analytics, and the Sourcie AI sourcing intelligence platform. He has been a public advocate for ethical AI in recruitment, speaking at the AI & Future of Work Summit and contributing thought leadership on topics including bias reduction, explainability, and compliance with the EU AI Act.

Under his co-leadership, Recruitment SMART has grown to serve major enterprises globally across sectors including manufacturing, oil and gas, airlines, telecoms, and retail, achieving a reported valuation of approximately $16 million following investment from the UK Future Fund, Blackfinch, and Capital Mills. He has also been closely involved in the company's international expansion, including a significant presence in the UAE market.
